Our team of qualified technicians has over 100 years combined experience with oral health equipment and facilities in Australia. This knowledge is invaluable in getting the work done efficiently and to demanding standards.
At the same time, the adoption of our efficient approach allows paperwork to be streamlined and barriers to efficient service delivery eliminated. Our staff, for example, work out-of-hours where necessary as part of the service and value culture of QDS.
Our team has extensive knowledge and experience in a wide range of dental equipment used in Queensland and Northern NSW dental facilities and have undertaken training both in Australia and directly with manufacturers overseas.

Training and Licences
Our technicians are certified electrical fitter mechanics or hold restricted electrical licences, ensuring that all equipment meets electrical standard AS3551 for patient treatment and AS3760 for electrical tag and test. The team is accredited to perform compliance testing on intra-oral x-ray equipment and hold the following licences:
- QLD and NSW Health Radiation Use Licences for Testing X-Ray Equipment
- QLD Health Radiation Accreditation Licences for Compliance Testing
Our technicians attend extensive manufacturer training ensuring the team has relevant up to date knowledge on all equipment we maintain. Three of our staff have been trained by A-dec in the USA and, due to our experience and knowledge, have been chosen by A-dec to perform the installations of all Southeast and Western Queensland Health equipment as well as Australian Defence Force and Queensland Government institutions such as Griffith University.
We are qualified to provide breakdown, calibration and validation of Dental Sterilisers to AS4815 and AS4187 standards.
We have recently been appointed by Carestream Dental to be the sole authorised Carestream service agent for Queensland and Northern New South Wales, including both intra-oral and extra-oral x-ray imaging equipment.
